Overview

The MZJ-400S contactor is a SPST (Single Pole Single Throw; normally open type) DC contactor, designed for direct current loads, particularly for motors on small electric vehicles such as light industrial trucks, electric forklift, electric pallet stacker, golf cart, etc. MZJ-400S has double breaking main contacts with silver alloy contact tips, which are weld resistant, hard wearing and have excellent conductivity.

MZJ-400S is a contactor of double-coil winding, with closed contact chamber. The main contacts are pulled to close by the starting coil L1; then the holding coil L2 keep the contactor in closing status with smaller current. With its double-coil design, MZJ-400S works with a smaller holding current which permits a much lower heat dissipating and thus can save upto 90% of energy than the signle-coil contactor of same rates of working voltage and working current.
